1. 7am

    ### Up and dressed

Help out of bed, bathing, dressing and grooming, at your parent's pace.

2. 8am

    ### Breakfast and pills

A warm breakfast and a reminder to take morning medication. Reminders, not administration.

3. 10am

    ### A walk and errands

Steady support on a walk, then groceries, the pharmacy or a doctor's appointment.

4. 12pm

    ### Lunch and company

Lunch together, a phone call with family, cards or a favorite show.

5. 2pm

    ### A rest for both

With live-in care the caregiver takes a break while your parent naps. With 24-hour care a fresh caregiver arrives.

6. 5pm

    ### Dinner and the house

Dinner, dishes, light housekeeping and laundry.

7. 8pm

    ### Evening routine

Changing for bed, a safe path to the bathroom, doors checked.

8. 11pm

    ### Through the night

Overnight supervision: someone is there if your parent wakes, wanders or needs help.

9. 6am

    ### A rested morning

The ring closes. Your parent slept safely at home, and so did you.

10. ### Every family's day looks different.

Your parent may need two hours in the morning, or someone there around the clock. The planner below fits the care to the hours.

### What is HomeCare.com?

HomeCare.com is a home care company founded in 2015 by Todd Walrath. It connects families with credentialed, non-medical caregivers for live-in care, 24-hour care, companion care and personal care. It serves families in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas and Virginia.

### Is there a minimum number of hours or a contract?

No. Families can choose the number of visits and the hours per visit, without minimums and with no contracts. You can start with a few hours a week and add more as needs change.

### Do you offer live-in and 24-hour care?

Yes. HomeCare.com specializes in live-in care and 24/7 coverage. With live-in care, one caregiver stays in the home and takes breaks and rest periods. With 24-hour care, caregivers work in rotating shifts so someone is always awake.

### How quickly can care start?

HomeCare.com says its large caregiver base lets it provide a caregiver on short notice and back up care. Call 800-974-3458 and a care advisor will talk through your timing and needs.

### Do your caregivers provide medical care?

No. HomeCare.com care is non-medical. Caregivers help with daily living: companionship, meals, housekeeping, errands, bathing, dressing, mobility and medication reminders. They do not give medication, do wound care or provide skilled nursing. A doctor can order home health care for medical needs.
