## Questions about our services

### What is the difference between live-in care and 24-hour care?

With live-in care, one caregiver stays in the home and needs breaks and rest periods, so it fits continuous but not constant needs. With 24-hour care, several caregivers work in rotating shifts so someone is always awake. It fits intensive, round-the-clock needs.

### What is the difference between companion care and personal care?

Companion care is non-medical help with daily routines, conversation, meals, errands and medication reminders. Personal care adds hands-on help with dressing, grooming and mobility, and advanced care adds bathing, toileting and transfers.

### Is any of this medical care?

No. All HomeCare.com services are non-medical. Caregivers give medication reminders, not medication. For skilled nursing, wound care or therapy, ask a doctor about home health care.

### Can we change the level of care later?

Yes. Families choose the number of visits and the hours per visit, with no minimums and no contracts, so the plan can grow or shrink as needs change.

## Talk to a care advisor today.
